Postage Stamp-Sized Park

This could be Boise's smallest park - C.W. Moore Park. It's named after a so-called "pioneer" of town. I think he opened one of the first stores, if I remember right. Lots of benches here. It's a place to sit and relax and read, not a kid-play park.

  1. It looks nice. Sometimes you need a place to just be able to sit and not be bothered.

  2. It's something of a Time Capsule also.

If you look closely, you'll notice that the stone work is recovered from buildings torn down by the CCDC/Urban Renewal Agency from back in the 70's, when Boise was being called "the town that destroyed itself".

  6. It looks inviting, in spite of winter starkness! For some reason, I keep thinking this is Europe! But I know it's right here in the USA!
