Keeping the Flies Away
Flies are particularly "sticky" this time of year. How do you keep them away? A Flying Pie employee shared this trick with us: Sprinkle some hot sauces on a napkin and leave it on the table. It did help.

Crazy Storms Again
This is a shelf cloud moving into Boise, view from Fairview Avenue. There were nearly 8,000 lightning strikes in Boise as several storms moved through. Hail as large as golf balls fell in some areas of the valley.

September Foothills
Later this month, the greenery at the bottom will start to change. September is a gorgeous month to be in Boise. Temperatures are still warm in the day, but nights are much cooler.
