Squash Bugs!
Alert. I found about a dozen squash bugs, Anasa tristis, in my pumpkin and zucchini plants. This perennial pest lays eggs on the undersides of leaves, and the babies suck the life out of pumpkins and squash. They'll even send their babies to attack cucumbers. Best way to control? Pick them off and drown them. Scrape eggs from undersides of leaves. Pray!
