Smoky Skies - Stay Inside

Hard to believe we're smoked-in during October. There is a fire north of Boise in the mountains that is sending smoke into the valley. Conditions are so poor, that school outdoor sports and activities are canceled, and everyone is warned to limit time outdoors.

The area around this emergency housing shelter has been deemed "tent city." People without homes used to camp underneath the Connector overpass, but the area was fenced off, so they moved to the parking lot around the shelter. There's a strong debate in Boise about all of this.
