Bees are happy about these little yellow flowers that bloom late in the season. But many people are not so happy. The sagebrush bloom means allergies are acting up.

"Flora." A Foil Ball with a Name.
Flora was born in 2008. She lives on a scale at Flying Pie Pizza on Fairview Ave. She weighs hundreds of pounds and would like a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records someday.

Another Bar Bites the Dust
This bar location on Chinden used to be the Hi-Ho Club. Then a series of other names that haven't had much staying power. I vote the Hi-Ho be resurrected!

This is the south channel of the Boise River in Eagle. The pathway is winding and secluded. Peaceful for a quick walk.

Cheesy History
Here's a fun valley relic: a cheese cutter from Swiss Village Cheese. The cheese factory used to do tours and offer cheeses, sandwiches and ice cream. There was a "cheesy" jingle I can still sing. The factory is now owned by a French company and no longer open to the public.
