Mostly Mundane: The Main Post Office
The line of cars would stretch for nearly a mile at this location years ago on Tax Day. It used to be the only place you could drop off your returns and get them postmarked on time. Not many people snail mail their returns anymore. If they do need last-minute services, those are offered at the sorting facility/warehouse on Cole Rd. By the way, Tax Day is April 17th this year. 96 days away.

Keepsies in its New Home
This scene of children playing marbles lived for decades in The Grove. It was moved when the Plaza was remodeled. So many kiddos tried to pick those marbles up over the years. “Keepsies,” by Anne Larose, 1985. You can see it at the Boise Senior Center.
