Riverside Memorial
This bronze relief and stone memorial can be found along the Boise River near Main Street. It's a sad chapter in the city's history. Lynn Henneman was a Montana-based flight attendant who was staying in Boise one night before continuing her work assignments. She went for a walk along the Boise River and disappeared. Her body was found in the river about two weeks later. She had been murdered. Erick Hall was later convicted of murdering Lynn and another woman. He is on death row.

The Story Behind the "Dirt"
The word "dirt" is carved into the side of the marble bench in the postage-stamp sized memorial garden at the University of Idaho Extension office on Glenwood. It's record of a long-running, good-natured dispute that Advanced Master Gardener Dick Wilson had with his wife, and likely many others. In the gardening world, "soil" is the preferred term. Dick didn't agree and this was his way of having the last word.

Cute Freak Alley Art
This little angel is tucked behind the oil recycling station in Freak Alley, Downtown Boise. He's one of my favorites. The murals and street art vignettes are being updated over the next month. I wonder if this guy will still be around?

Idaho Shakespeare Festival Season
The Tempest was the play on stage Saturday night. Don't want to be a spoiler, but the Ariel interpretation was amusing.
