I'd like to climb in these mountains, they look beautiful! And I keep in a corner of my brain your great idea about birds on the fence, original and very nice.
The zoomed in effect is really impressive, it seems the moutain is right there at the end of the street. Duh... Right, that's just what you said but is it far?
The mountains are not very far. The foothills that step up to those mountains start only a mile or two from downtown, depending on what area of downtown you're in. The "mountain" is by our ski resort, which is 15 miles away by road. Closer, as the crow flies.
I guess I should start looking up more as I walk around downtown. The window displays are interesting but I had never noticed the view of the mountains like this before. Some Boisean I am.

What a backdrop! It's hard not to feel awed by such a view. Do people ever take if for granted?
ReplyDeleteI have a hard time going up steps, not sure I could make it up a mountain. It would be neat to try though.
ReplyDeleteYes, I would LOVE to!!! LoL!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot!
Very nice view!
