Keep Your Hummingbirds Happy

The heat wave means that hummingbird food needs to be refreshed often. Daily is best. When it's cloudy, it's yucky. Recipe: 1 part sugar, 4 parts water. Stir to dissolve. No boiling. No food color.

    My parents always had one or two around the house. It was busy all day long with hummers flying up.
