We attended a celebration of life over the weekend, and learned a little about the Sami - who are the indegenous people of Finland and Norway. Idaho is also home to a pocket of Finnish influence not far from McCall, where buildings featuring Finnish architecture have been preserved.
I thought that costume looked a long way from home! How interesting that there are Finns settled in Idaho.
