Its a new fad called planking. People in Austrailia are doing it. The basics its lying on a surface like a board or a plank. There are pictures all over the internet just search planking. However since its your 9 year old she is probably just lying on the ground :)
I did finally ask her. She said she was cold and wanted to lay in the sun, but had to keep her head in the shade to see the screen on her Nintendo DS. Duh, mom.
And...this is my kiddo laying on the driveway with her Nintendo DS.
