This Bird Winters in Boise
Oregon juncos, and other dark-eyed juncos, spend their summers in the woodlands of Canada, and migrate to the states for the winter. They're a type of sparrow, and when we see them in abundance, it's a confirmation that winter is on the way.
These little guys are currently invading our feeders. It's amazing how much they can eat :)
