Interesting. In Des Moines, there is a very extensive walking / biking trail that weaves through the city. There are many places where you walk under a street.
I am always amazed that if you are walking through a tunnel, you cannot hear the traffic above you. I would think you could but you don't.
Glad to see they have a good railing over the tunnel!
Horseshoe tunnel is just my name for this underpass along the Boise River Greenbelt. I don't think that's the official name.

It's a fitting name and the city should adopt it! A beautiful area, too. Used for bikers and joggers and such I would hope?
