Oh that's what Jim over at Terrell's post was about yesterday. A squirrel got on a power line and knocked out everyone's power Thanksgiving last year!

This is one of many electricity substations that poses such a hazard for squirrels, it seems. If they don't read the "keep out" signs, they can cut power to thousands of people with one wrong jump.
