Several people were baptized in the Boise River near one of the parks last weekend.

  2. Outstanding! The activity deserved notice as something out of the ordinary, apart from my delight to see people engaged in such a precious declaration- being raised in newness of Life.

  4. Interesting shot that brings back memories. I was raised Methodist, and, when we were kids, we used to argue with other kids who were Baptists (who believe in immersion vs. sprinkling) about this. Thanks for sharing.

  6. I wonder if that was Calvary Chapel doing the baptisms? In southern California they always used to do baptisms at the beach :-)

  7. A baptism at a Southern California beach would probably be warmer :) The Boise River is always cold, even in the summer.
