Boy, it sure is hot and dry everywhere out here. I hope none of the fires grow too big or burn houses etc. There are some hige fires in B>C> and the Chelan fire. Hopefully rain is in the forecast. MB
Looks like it was a little too close to home. Most of our fires during the dry season, are started by lightning.
That must have been very frightening to watch. I wonder how many years it will take for life to get a foothold there again.
Hi! I have been blurking on your blog for awhile. I am a former Boise native who now lives in the DC Metro area. I was born and raised in Boise and only lived away from there in college and when we moved away 3 years ago. I LOVE the connection that you give me to my home town. Even this scorched earth picture - which is sad, but still a true picture of Boise in the summer. THANK YOU! -Sara
Looks bad, thank goodness it didnt reach the homes.
Always enjoy stopping by your blog and seeing a bit of your world.I have been gone for a couple of months -- but like a bad habit I am back! Take care.
Thanks for stopping by!
