Is this when all the little kids started jumping up and down clapping?
I don't think new schools have nearly the character of old one's. I would have loved to have seen this when I was in school, however.

I kept thinking I needed to scoot over to Whitney Elementary School before it was torn down...and I was a bit late. I believe this is a Dr. Seuss scene. I wonder what room it was in?
