Camo Chicks

Can you see me now? Canada goose chicks blending in along the banks of a canal. Most of the chicks I've seen lately are much larger, so these must be late-season babies.

  1. I thought, just for a moment, that 'camo' was really a type of duck...

  2. They sure blend in, don't they?!

Yesterday I was mowing and three tiny rabbits jumped out in front of me. They were only about 1/4 the size of a fully grown rabbit. I stopped and backed up - leaving the long grass for them to stay in. They will be moving around in a couple of weeks and I can mow the grass then!

    Take care.

  3. This is definitely worth enlarging. They are darling, especially the one on the left, curiously gazing at the camera. Great capture.
