Metropolis View in April

A view of downtown from the Boise Foothills. This is it - the "big buildings" we've got downtown.

  1. It's a nice skyline. It doesn't have an inflated sense of itself. Modest but effective. Very nice capture.

  2. Building good, but should not destroy nature. Greetings.

  3. Actually, this reminds me a great deal of Des Moines. We have the Principal Building - 44 stories and the tallest building in town.

Then we have a few 15 to 20 story buildings. But most all buildings in DSM are in that 2 to 6 story range (most being more like 2 or 3).

I agree with the recent commentor - it is nice to see that buildings have not taken over the beauty of the countryside. Idaho is certainly a place with a lot of wonderful natural wonders.

    Take care.

  4. A lot more there than here! LoL!

  5. Nice shot and the buildings are big enough for don't want big buildings out west, do you?

  6. You have more buildings there than all my island. Lovely cityscape nie hine of pink to that sky.

Thanks for stopping by!
