Metropolis View in April

A view of downtown from the Boise Foothills. This is it - the "big buildings" we've got downtown.

  1. It's a nice skyline. It doesn't have an inflated sense of itself. Modest but effective. Very nice capture.

  2. Building good, but should not destroy nature. Greetings.

  3. Actually, this reminds me a great deal of Des Moines. We have the Principal Building - 44 stories and the tallest building in town.

Then we have a few 15 to 20 story buildings. But most all buildings in DSM are in that 2 to 6 story range (most being more like 2 or 3).

I agree with the recent commentor - it is nice to see that buildings have not taken over the beauty of the countryside. Idaho is certainly a place with a lot of wonderful natural wonders.

    Take care.

  5. Nice shot and the buildings are big enough for me...you don't want big buildings out west, do you?
