Dumpster Diving at the Library
Looking for a good read? Check out the dumpster at the Boise Public Library. I couldn't really see much inside, because the dumpster is tall and I am not. Mostly book covers, some books, some covers for school yearbooks - I wonder if those would spark interest in eBay. Specifically, I saw a cover for a Fresno, CA, yearbook.
I wonder what you could find inside that dumpster...
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I ever shoplifted was a couple of Doonesbury books from a Barnes & Noble in New York in the late 70s
ReplyDeleteThat felt good [did he mean the confession or the act?]
Wow! I can't believe they don't set up a "free" shelf or at least recycle.
ReplyDeleteLook digging through book dumpsters...one never knows where treasure lurks.
ReplyDeleteI'd never thought of dumpster diving. I used to enjoy the library's annual book sale when I was a teenager. I still have several books I got there as a young person.
ReplyDeleteA lot of companies use compactors now and locks on their dumpsters.
