Cloud Shrouded Mountains

A glimpse at Shaffer Butte this morning. Stormy weather is back and maybe more snow for the Boise Valley tonight. Just over that peak is our local ski resort. The last day of skiing was last Saturday.

  1. My daughter went skiing on the last day at Monarch Pass in Colorado yesterday.

Beautiful shot. Love the low-hanging clouds.

  2. That looks like that mythical cloak of mist that covers my island. It's to ward of enemies so you'll be safe there. Gorgeous deep colours.

  3. It's lovely!

I hope the snow won't last too long! Stay warm, BD.

  4. What a great capture this is. Those clouds have such solidity! They seem to have every bit as much authority as the mountain.
