This piece of public art is found in front of Hotel 43, downtown Boise. It's lit up with blue at night. I could tell you the interpretation, but that spoils the fun.
Love these big pieces of art and we don't have that many in the States...I suppose this one means that the big cheeses who run things are kinda blue 'cause they're so discombobulated at how things have gotten so far out of hand.
I like Jacob's interpretation. Since it's at a hotel, perhaps they claim to bridge the gap between your life before and your life after your visit to Boise.

ReplyDeleteNo?
Sheesh!
Very cool art work! I really like it!
ReplyDeleteThere's actually some pretty cool public art in Boise
ReplyDeleteMy favorite place for guerrilla art is "Freak Alley" next to Casba off of N 8th St
Though gentrification has curtailed it's allowable use, there's a few interesting things still there
Interesting, but I have no idea what it means!

ReplyDeleteIt reminds of some company's logo, but for the life of me I can't remember which.
ReplyDeleteI hope you can take a night shot of it. I actually like it.
I suppose you have to pass through it, but I'm fascinated by Jacob's explanation.
ReplyDeleteI like it a lot!
