Nope, it doesn't stand on a hill. It's on what used to be farmland. Totally flat.

I bet I'm not the only one humming Edelweiss right about now...I'm always sorry to see farmland giving way to urban development.

A little bit of snow falling this morning. This chalet-looking structure is right in front of a corn field. It promotes a big subdivision nearby, and maybe the plans are to grow all those houses into the corn field someday.
