Bye Bye Snow

One day, we're out shoveling snow, and the next day, over a foot of it melts with a high of 50 degrees. The weather gurus explain it like this: the jet stream jumped, and now Boise is on the south side of it, which means unusually warm weather. It's a puddle-y world out there when snow melts this fast.

  1. Hmmm, well the snow certainly left fast from viewing your previous posts. Never ceases to amaze me that the grass is green beneath the snow. We enjoy that process here as well, however, not so on the prairies where the grass was brown for many months before reviving from the severe winters we endured there.

  2. It won't stick around when it's that warm, for sure!
Maybe we'll get some, but it'll melt just as fast as it comes around here!

  3. No snow here yet - just a bitter cold frost.

  4. I imagine it to be very puddly and plain old wet and messy now! The part about snow that I don't like!
