Snow-Covered Mountains in October
Here's the record-setting snow in October. Brr. It did not come near to warming enough to melt any of this off yet. We're all hoping this is just a sneak peek of winter. We still deserve a full autumn. Most trees haven't turned yet.
That is such a weird sight — trees and grass and snow!
ReplyDeleteI saw that on the news and thought of you. It didnt make it down the mountains?
ReplyDeleteWow! This is so pretty with the snow on the mountains in the background with the autumn-color grasses.
ReplyDeleteThe kids will be regretting that early morning paper run!
ReplyDeleteHi Jim - I guest East Boise, and of course, the Foothills, saw the complete 2 inches of snow. I live up on the Bench, and although it snowed big, fat flakes, it didn't stick.
ReplyDeleteHopefully you get a few warm days and the leaves have a chance to change colors instead of freezing and falling off!!
ReplyDeleteThis is not good. I don't want winter to start too early--I still have green tomatos on the vine!
