I don't feel like I've had a full summer yet - but my maple tree is telling me different. And, we DID have a bit of frost on the rooftops this week. And my daughter did go back to school. And the black-chinned hummingbirds are gone. But I'm not ready. I want more summer, more flowers, more tomatoes, and more cucumbers.

Ack! Fall Already? I'm Not Ready!
I don't feel like I've had a full summer yet - but my maple tree is telling me different. And, we DID have a bit of frost on the rooftops this week. And my daughter did go back to school. And the black-chinned hummingbirds are gone. But I'm not ready. I want more summer, more flowers, more tomatoes, and more cucumbers.

I like the color, but I am not ready either.
ReplyDeleteWe had some hot days here but all in all summer was a flop this year. In any event I really enjoy autumn.
ReplyDeleteWhat I really enjoy is the change of seasons even thought winter is too long and summer is too short.
I bet that tree will be beautiful when all of the leaves have changed!
