We "met" this cow just north of Boise, and yes, the ranch owners were just painting the fence that incredible red. This is cow #6 in my series of Boise bovines - trying to bolster my theory that you see a cow, even if it's not real, every day, if you just look. There are "Cows of Boise" links on the right hand side of the page.
What does the cow eat? Everything is so brown,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a massive bull to me...!
ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine that bright red paint! Guess it adds a lot of color in the winter--certainly when it snows! Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the cow got any paint on him? Maybe the smell made him stay away from the fence.
ReplyDeleteWow. You'll be able to see that barn and fence from miles away!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture.
ReplyDeleteCongrats !
Cow or steer it was lucky it didn't get painted. Everything else in sight seems to have a fresh coat of red paint.
ReplyDeleteThat red barn and fence really caught my eye. I love it! and the bovine theme is great..
