My husband's work had an employee party at "Coolwater," just a covered wagon ride southwest of Boise. It's a Wild West theme place - complete with shootouts....
And an undertaker....
And when the party was over, everyone rode off into the sunset.
What an incredible picture! My daughter, age 27 and her husband (a pilot) and 2 little boys live in Boise. I am in Canada. I found you from HOBO's blog. I like to see your pics, then I can see where my daughter lives. I am in Canada and bedridden so I can't go see them. Are you originally from Boise? If not, where were you born and raised? If you would rather not say publicly, go to my blog profile and click on "email" and write to me privately. Blessings Bluebirdy.
Hi bluebirdy - thank you for stopping by! I hope your daughter and her family enjoy Boise. I was born in Phoenix, AZ, and moved to a small town just north of Boise at age 4. I moved to the "big city" of Boise for college and work and have been here ever since 1985.
By the way, my husband gets credit for all the photos of Coolwater. I'm glad he got the sunset. I didn't see that version of the sunset from our house, that's for sure.
Ooh, fun! I especially like the riding off into the sunset part. ;)
ReplyDeleteDiva -- what a start I got when I saw that population recount! Glad it wasn't for real. What a great place for a party. And the sunset is magnificent.
ReplyDeleteCovered Wagon ride ?
ReplyDeleteSunset too good.
Claps for photographer.

ReplyDeleteI just love the population count sign. Ridng into the sunset would suit me too.
