The Hollywood Market in Boise's North End. It's a funky little place that sells produce, meat, beer, cigarettes, household products and used stuff. It's just crammed full, and just like the sign says, the people are friendly. It's a true neighborhood market, and we don't have many of those in Boise.

ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice place to ramble around in!
ReplyDeleteHi Jim - thanks for taking a look today, the window display is absolutely reflective of what it's like inside. It really is fascinating.
ReplyDeleteHi rambling around, it really is worth some time to ramble around the store. It's one-of-a-kind here in Boise!

Hi teamsplashi - there are many Basque events throughout the summer around here in small towns on the weekends. One of the biggest events in Boise this year is the San IƱazio Basque Festival, July 25-27. It's happening in the Basque district and on streets throughout downtown and draws people from all over the country. I hope you'll be able to make it.
