Raindrops on Lupine

Big rain last night, and it looks like the rest of spring break week will be cool. Lupine grows wild in the Boise Foothills, and it's an easy plant to grow from seed in the home landscape.

Millipede Invasion

A baggie FULL of millipedes. These samples came into the lab at University of Idaho Extension this week. A man told us they were crawling all over his floor by the hundreds. For the record, millipedes don't harm people or home interiors, and will die out if they find themselves inside. Best strategy is to seal cracks so they can't get into your home because this kind of thing can cause nightmares ;)
