Last year when I took my Christmas mall pictures in the morning before they opened, mall security told me that pictures (even cell phone pictures) are not allowed. They asked me to either leave or put away the camera.
David Oliver - the mall security people are wrong. They tried to tell us something similar when family was in town. We demanded to speak with the manager of the facility, who told us the security person had overstepped. I hope you filed a report with the mall manager.
