Log Cabin by the River

Officially called The Cabin, it's a nonprofit literary center: writing camps for kids and adults, public readings and featured authors. The cabin was built in 1939 for the Idaho State Forestry Department with donated materials from Idaho timber companies. It's now owned by the City of Boise.

  3. Take a tour inside sometime. Different wood flooring and finishings in each room - because they came from different companies.

  4. Well, this Cabin is a very nice and useful place. We don't have a similar one in Champagne.
Public reading in the Cabin by the author ? Wow, I would like to live this experience on next summer while driving through Idaho, but I write and I read my novels in french, definitively...
