Vintage Cameras

I'm fortunate to be photo-blogging in the digital age. These camera relics are for sale in the Antique Mall.

  1. Classics...but, I too am glad I'm shooting in the digital age. I don't know how photographers did it back then, especially documenting action shots. They didn't know if they had a decent shot until after the fact when they we were in the darkroom.

  2. I remember all three of those cameras. We probably had all of them at one time. It seems like we had quite a time line of old point & shoot cameras just for the kids to play with. My daughter bought me a Kodak Instamatic camera (from the late 60's) for Christmas. That was my very first camera that I bought with my own money when I was 8 years old. I was fortunate that my brother had a dark room in our basement, so at least I had a little leeway as far as editing.

  3. How lucky to have a dark room in-house. I think I had a point-and-shoot when I was a kiddo, but no money to get the photos developed. I wish I remembered what kind of camera that was ;) I wasn't very photo-minded back then.
