In the summer at smaller-town fairs and festivals, there are "pipe setting" contests to see who can get the most pipes flowing quickest. The brown crop in this photo is wheat.

Very interesting. I had no idea such a technique existed.
ReplyDeleteI am familiar with irrigation systems -- the traditional spider like structures that go in a big circle. But this is new to me. Interesting.
I enjoyed the photo of the repo house -- wow! But, yes, I have actually walked through such places and it is very sad.
