hmmm, that's odd - why would someone cover them up like that?
That sounds like something my Mother would do. We we were kids we weren't supposed to put the Baby Jesus in the creche until Christmas. (Not sure if that's an Irish or a Catholic tradition.) The Wise Men, same thing don't get to be in the picture until the Feast of the Epiphany January 6th. That's when we would take our tree down.
