Trees stacked deep and ready for holiday shoppers this weekend at Fred Meyer. When do you put your Christmas tree up? We usually do ours Thanksgiving weekend, although we have an artifical tree. We'll be a week late this year because we're out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday.

No natural Christmas trees here at all! I'll try to put up the tree this weekend but more important for us are the nativity scene and Advent wreath.

We go to a Christmas tree farm and tag a tree each year at the end of October. We'll pick up the tagged tree on an arranged date (in about two weeks) when the tree farmer will cut it down for us. Talk about fresh.
