Church View of the Mountains

Looking across an abandoned corn field at a catholic church in Eagle (right next to Boise). You can't really see anything of "Boise" - which sits right below those mountains. Boise is at a lower elevation than where this picture was taken, which is why it's hidden.

  6. After I clicked to enlarge it, it took my breath away. It (sorta) follows the rule of thirds, maybe that's part of it. Also the contrast of the "textures" of the different horizontal thirds is amazing.

I bet when you took it, you didn't quite grasp what a great photo you had, no?

I swear, if I lived there, I wouldn't be able to get any work done for staring at those mountains & drooling all over myself. Have I told you that already? Oh well, it's true! I sooo love the mountains
