Fire Station Pumpkin Patch

I believe the fire station by my house grew many of their own pumpkins in the land behind the station - and beefed up the supply some. I think we'll take our little red wagon down this Saturday morning and buy a few for the cause.

  1. And to take some photos can be another good reason to go there!

  3. That's a great idea for a fundraiser! My kids will be wanting to carve a pumpkin and roast the seeds soon.

  5. Several churches around here sell pumpkins every year. I love to see them all piled up.

  6. I'm one of the firefighters that grew the pumpkins behind Boise Fire Station 10. We grew 500 pumpkins on our little lot behind the station. We had a great turnout and sold almost every pumpkin. I'm glad to see the public liked the First Annual Fallen Firefighter Memorial Pumpkin Patch. Hope to see you there with your cameras next year.

  7. Hi Trosen - we DID enjoy it, it was a nice surprise in the neighborhood. I didn't know there was a pumpkin patch there until the big sign went up. The rain did NOT keep us away! See you at the patch next year!
