The Boise River has grown to three times its size compared to just a few weeks ago. Here is my latest shot of it. Look along the bank on the left and compare it to here, and here. I haven’t heard of any flooding. And we don’t know yet if the river will grow again soon. It all depends on how fast the snow in the mountains melts and drains into reservoirs upstream. If it happens fast, more water may have to be released quickly. So far, it’s been a cold spring so the melting has been gradual. Tuesday, April 22, 2008
Boise River Creeping Up its Banks
